The Texas High School football season is near. Here are my the top uncommitted class of 2026 quarterback recruits to know going into this 2025 season, who could land more offers and commit during or after the season.
#1. Romin Seymour, QB, Ridge Point, 6-3.5 / 175
Romin is a dual-threat quarterback with the arm talent to make all the throws at every level of the field. Currently, many Division I programs, including Baylor, Colorado State, the Florida Gators, and Texas A&M, are interested in him, among his 12 total offers. Seymour is a quarterback with a wealth of experience; as a three-year varsity starter, he has amassed over 3,000 passing yards (3,121) and 23 touchdowns. However, he needs to limit his turnovers, as he currently has 18 total interceptions throughout his career.
#2. Grant Smith, QB, Grand Oaks, 6-3.5 / 205
At 6-foot-4, Grant checks off a lot of the boxes as a next-level quarterback. He has a tall, lengthy frame with deep-ball capabilities and an effortless distribution of the football. He displays good ball placement, a quick release, and a solid three-step drop. He really sells the play action well and can hurt defenses from the pocket. A three-star prospect and our 8th-ranked quarterback overall in the class of 2026 here in the Lone Star state.
#3. Ziondre Williams, QB, Anna, 5-11 / 165
Williams is a dual-threat quarterback with amazing arm talent from the pocket as well as running with the football. The only knock on him, if any, is that he is not the biggest or tallest, standing at 5-foot-11. He’s not your prototypical quarterback but he can get the job done regardless. Schools are still recruiting him as a quarterback, and he has 7 total Division I offers at the moment from schools like North Texas, Pitt, Southern Miss, and Texas State, to name a few. A track athlete as well as a football player. In 2024, Ziondre scored defenses through the air with 3,203 yards passing, an eye-popping 37 passing touchdowns, and only 2 interceptions.
