The Texas High school football season kicked off last week and with that brought about some changes among the nations top high school teams. Three Texas teams earned a spot among the top 25 teams in the nation (according to maxpreps).
The Dragons secured the No. 18 position following a 49-0 shutout victory against Midland. Last year’s 6A Division 2 state runner-up, the Dragons are guided by Angelo Renda, who successfully completed 16 of 24 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns, along with Brock Boyd, who caught six passes for 88 yards and one touchdown.
