Yesterday, I made a post and started a series of some class of 2026 Texas High School recruits for college coaches and fans alike to keep on their radar for next season.

The purpose of this initiative is to highlight deserving athletes who may not be receiving the recognition they deserve from the community and college programs. We began the series by profiling ten running backs to watch as we approach the upcoming season.

We had a specific requirement: recruits needed to have either ten Division I offers or none at all at the moment to qualify for our list. We identified players who we believe could make an impact next season and who could benefit various college programs. Our goal is to help young prospective student-athletes achieve their dreams of playing at the highest level of college football through our network of college coaches and programs across the country. Additionally, we aim to enhance their lives and their families’ lives forever through the power of academics and sports.

Earning a scholarship offer from high school to the college level is not easy, especially nowadays, with things like the transfer portal and extra years of eligibility directly affecting high school recruiting. College programs across all sports want to win, and are expected to win, and win now, period. The transfer portal athletes that they can bring in and plug in right into their lineup is a quick fix to help them achieve their goals of winning and other milestone achievements, any respective program may have like a certain win-loss record, reaching a bowl game, conference championships, and college national championships.

With NIL money flooding programs, boosters and collectives are expecting a return on their investments, creating pressure for coaches to win and win now. People want to see results immediately, and for some coaches, the portal has been and will be for the foreseeable future a way to do just that. However, college coaches know that they still must recruit and develop high school recruits, and in fact some prefer to do just that.

We hope that by giving some deserving athletes a spotlight, they can make their college football dreams come true and help college coaches discover them more easily. Here are some of Texas’s up-and-coming senior running back recruits that can make more of a name for themselves next season.

As a subscriber, you have the opportunity to nominate individuals in the comments section. This is one of the many benefits of being a subscriber to our platform, which is not available to non-subscribers. Our network of college football coaches is extensive, and you never know who might be watching at just the right time.
