Top Three Scouting Report
Zane Rowe, Edge, Guyer, 6-4 / 235
Zane is one of the top recruits in his class nationwide. With a lengthy athletic frame, he is dangerous off the edge, showcasing an elite burst at the snap of the ball, a great bend, and a low center of gravity. He has the awareness to not only reach the quarterbacks and cause sacks but also to strip the football. As a multi-sport athlete, Zane competes in both football and track. He debuted on varsity as a freshman, recording 23 tackles and 2 sacks. In 2024, he had a breakout sophomore season that included 75 tackles, 19 TFL, 9 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. It’s no wonder he has received 35 Division I offers from schools like Georgia, Oregon, Texas, and many others.
Kaden McCarty, Edge, Cy Falls, 6-1.5 / 215
In 2023, Kaden played varsity as a freshman for Cypress (Texas) Ridge. In 2024, he had a breakout sophomore season, recording 59 tackles, 24 TFL, 11 sacks, and 2 punt blocks in 12 games. Recent offers for McCarty include the Texas Longhorns (June 1st), North Carolina (May 15th), and Iowa (May 15th), bringing his total to 20 Division I offers. Kaden has a lengthy frame with long arms and is very explosive off the edge. He can be an offense’s worst nightmare to block. Look for McCarty to have a special season and further raise his recruiting stock.
Sedrick Marsh, Edge, Waxahachie, 6-5 / 230
With an impressive height of 6-foot-5 and weighing 230 lbs, Marsh stands out even when getting off the school bus. Although there is limited footage available, college football programs recognize that Marsh has significant potential to add more lean mass to his frame and develop into a future star player. While his hand movements and overall technique could use improvement, he remains one of the most athletically gifted athletes on the field whenever he plays. He can accumulate tackles for loss and create quarterback hurries and pressure. It will be exciting to see Marsh in action this fall.
