Top Three Scouting Report

John Meredith III, CB, Trinity, 6-2 / 175

Meredith is the number one-rated recruit in Texas and ranks in the top five nationally, with 37 Division I offers from schools like Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. John is a tall, lengthy, athletic defensive back who has many of the elite traits desired in today’s modern cornerback. He possesses the speed to stay with wide receivers and the physical willingness to tackle in the open field. Additionally, he is a multi-sport athlete who competes in track and field as well as football.

Taelyn Mayo, CB, McKinney, 6-3.5 / 170

Mayo is an elite defensive back who could cover the entire back half of the field seemingly by himself and make plays all over the field. With his elite size and frame at 6-foot-3 and long arms, he is bigger than most wide receivers that he is covering. Mayo has earned the attention from some of the top college football programs in the nation with 27 scholarship offers from schools like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Texas, USC, and others. Taelyn will be a special recruit and player for many years to come and it will be interesting to see how much his recruiting stock will rise up even further throughout the years to come.

Jerry Outhouse Jr., CB, North Crowley, 6-0 / 175

In 2024, Jerry had a breakout sophomore campaign at Fort Worth Brewer with 44 tackles, 3 TFL, 5 INTs, and 1 FR. Now at North Crowley as one of the top cornerback recruits in the state and nationwide. Outhouse is also a multi-sport athlete who competes in track and field in the 200-meter run, triple jump, and dominates in track as well as on the football field.
