Myles Wellington is an early-stage defensive back prospect with average size for his class but clear developmental upside. At 5’11” and 165, he carries a lean frame with room to add functional mass as he matures. His movement skills show promise—smooth backpedal, clean hip transitions, and the ability to mirror receivers in phase. He’s comfortable trailing the hip and plays with enough speed and agility to stay attached through breaks. Myles also shows poise at the catch point, working through a receiver’s hands to break up passes and competing well when the ball is in the air. He has the versatility to line up in press or a softer cushion, giving him a workable foundation to build from.

 A focused offseason with a skilled DB trainer will accelerate his development, especially with route recognition, baiting throws, and undercutting passes. Too early to stamp a college projection, but the skills are worth keeping an eye on for this athlete.
