The 2025 Texas high school football season is kicking off this week, and several emerging offensive talents are showcasing their skills on film. These players may move from hopeful prospects to household names this fall. Today, we highlight the class of 2026 offensive linemen and tight ends who have the skills and talent necessary for a breakout year.
Tight Ends
Cash Harbison, TE, Waxahachie
HT/WT: 6-5 / 230
Offers: 1
Cash stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 230 lbs, with long arms and plenty of room to add lean mass as he progresses to the next level. Without a doubt, Cash is a blocking tight end who can put defenders on the ground. However, college coaches can help him transition his skills to become a more balanced run-blocking and pass-catching tight end with significant upside and potential. He checks off many boxes as a Division I college football recruit, and if I were a college coach, I would get creative and think of ways to further develop this tight end to reach his full potential.
William Blaylock II , TE , Cy Ranch
HT/WT: 6-3 / 205
Offers: 2
William is currently committed to PVAMU. However, we’ve seen recruits in the past who gain interest during the season and reconsider their commitments when other prominent schools show interest. Blaylock can block on the line of scrimmage and is a threat in the passing game. With improvements in both areas of his game or even a switch to wide receiver, Blaylock could see his recruitment and interest increase this season.
Offensive Linemen
Chaz Oliver, OL, Shadow Creek
HT/WT: 6-4 / 300
Offers:
Chaz is a tough blocker who can bulldoze defenders into the ground. He maintains a low center of gravity and keeps his feet moving while driving defenders off the line. We believe Oliver could be a senior recruit who has a breakout season and rises on many recruiting boards.
Jakorey Lewis, OL, Bellville
HT/WT: 6-3 / 285
Offers: 1
Jakorey has one Division I offer from UTEP, and we suspect he will gain more this season. Lewis is a fierce blocker and a headhunter who looks to wipe out defenders and aims for pancake blocks. He is a solid interior offensive lineman who can play either the guard or center position and dominate. College coaches should keep an eye on Lewis, as he could be a special player at the next level and is certainly flying under the radar at the moment.
More Offensive Linemen Notable Names to Watch
Brock Schlef, OL, Prestonwood Christian, 6-2.5 / 300
Brady Wyatt, OL, St. Mark’s, 6-6 / 255, Air Force Commit
Hunter Caudill, OL, Grapevine, 6-3 / 265
With the upcoming season, the 2026 edges have a chance to demonstrate their skills against the best talent in Texas high school football. If they can make the most of their promising initial performances, they won’t just be standout players this year; they’ll become names that college recruiters and fans will remember for years to come. The film speaks for itself, and these recruits are ready to leave their mark.
