Miles Burrell brings an athletic, long-armed frame to the cornerback spot with average size for the DI standard and a build that will continue to fill out. His raw athletic traits stand out early—smooth long-stride speed, the ability to open up and chase down ball carriers from distance, and enough suddenness to close windows late. He flashes good instincts, reading the quarterback’s eyes and anticipating routes with solid field awareness. On contact, Burrell plays with edge. He’s a hard-hitting corner who jars throws loose and tackles well in space, showing comfort coming downhill and finishing in the open field.

Right now, the toolbox is strong, but the skill refinement is still developing. His technique and footwork need tightening—particularly in press and when matching releases inside. He can lose leverage and give up the inside on breaks at times.
