Rogers reads the quarterback well and positions himself to generate turnovers, showing instincts beyond his years. He’s a willing run-support defender who closes space quickly and can stop plays before they develop into explosive gains.

Physically, Rogers moves well and has competent speed and agility, but his burst and twitch coming downhill could sharpen with continued training. Open-field tackling consistency and physicality at the point of contact must improve—finishing through the ball carrier and embracing contact with violence. In coverage, his jam technique and lower-body mechanics (especially footwork and hip transitions) need refinement to hold up against quicker receivers. With more technical polish and game reps, Rogers could develop into a well-rounded DB prospect as he progresses through high school.
