Scouting Report
Nathan plays with controlled aggression and sharp technical awareness that shows up on film. At 5-11, 185, he’s slightly undersized for a true Division I safety, but his physicality and all-around athleticism make him an intriguing defensive back prospect that can either play safety or cornerback. Hall brings a hard-hitting presence and reliable tackling ability in open-field situations, showing great body control and pop on contact. His footwork is clean, and his hip transitions is fluid—allowing him to flip and run without wasted motion. The top-end speed and sideline-to-sideline range and lateral ability stand out, especially when he comes downhill to close gaps or erase outside runs.
He’s shown the ability to track and attack the football, but his consistency in locating it mid-flight needs refinement. Improving his read-and-react speed and taking more disciplined pursuit angles will help elevate his game. Hall could project as a hybrid DB or corner at the next level, with his skill set translating best to aggressive coverage systems or nickel/safety roles. If he develops more dominance snap to snap, he has the tools to land at the Division I FCS level or lower levels of college football.
Projection: Division I FCS or lower levels.
