Jamal has shown significant improvements this season in speed and agility at the snap and downfield. He is quick off the line, demonstrating elite vertical speed. As an average-sized versatile wide receiver, he can play as a No. 1 outside WR or in the slot. He breaks tackles, maintains balance after contact, and gains yards after the catch. He runs multiple routes with great route tree acumen, catches the ball away from his body, and wins 50/50 balls. With impressive vertical ability, he can catch the ball at its apex over defenders. He is a home run threat whenever he touches the ball, displaying moves that make defenders miss and turning catches behind the line into touchdowns. He projects to the Division I level and has offers from UTEP and Lamar.
