Durham is an explosive defensive athlete with Division I measurables and a physical skillset that stands out immediately on film. At 6-1, 190, he’s built like a hybrid defender—long enough to patrol the back end but thick enough to slide into the box and take on physical contact. His downhill speed and twitch pop off the screen. He flies to the football, closes space in a hurry, and delivers forceful hits that stop plays cold. When he triggers downhill, he looks like a linebacker—no hesitation, just violent intent. His gap discipline and run fits are strong, and he shows an instinctive feel for where the play is developing.

Durham’s best flashes come when he’s playing fast and decisive, attacking the ball as a see ball, attack ball defender. As a safety, his range and explosiveness are next-level, but the biggest question is consistency in coverage technique and reps. There’s limited film showing him in man or deep zone situations, so projecting him as a hybrid safety/outside linebacker may be the best fit. With his athleticism, frame, and motor, he profiles as a high-upside defensive prospect once his coverage game catches up to his physical tools or solidfies himself as a pass rushing and run stopping outside linebacker.
