Blaylock is a dynamic playmaker who flashes instant burst and twitch off the line of scrimmage. Despite being undersized, his explosiveness and top-end speed make him a vertical threat every time he touches the ball. He can take the top off defenses and separate with pure acceleration, showing a second gear once he clears the stem. As a slot receiver, he’s dangerous on jet sweeps, RPOs, and quick screens—plays that get him into space where he thrives.
He’s got excellent short-area quickness and change of direction, consistently making defenders miss in the open field. His contact balance stands out for his size, staying upright through arm tackles and turning short passes into chunk gains. He also brings legitimate value as a return specialist, showing vision and natural field awareness on special teams.
To take the next step, he’ll need to sharpen his route running and footwork, especially at the top of routes where precision can create separation against better coverage. His smaller frame may limit some Division I opportunities, but his speed and versatility project well for lower-level college programs where he can develop into a key offensive weapon.
