Camarillo brings a solid physical profile with a long 6’1” frame and lean build that fits the modern cornerback mold. He shows flashes of ball-hawking instincts—reads the quarterback’s eyes, anticipates throws, and can undercut routes to create turnovers. Displays reliable tackling form in space and isn’t afraid to deliver contact, often dislodging the ball or forcing fumbles. He plays the run with intent and has shown he can come downhill and finish the play, an underrated trait for a perimeter defender.

However, his next step as a prospect will come from refining his technique and coverage polish. The backpedal, hip transitions, and overall fluidity when mirroring receivers still need development. On film, many of his reps appear routine rather than dominant—he’ll need to show more disruption and lockdown ability in coverage to boost his stock. With his size and physical tools, Camarillo has a path toward success at the DII, DIII, or JUCO level, with potential to climb higher as his technical game matures.
